Oct 28:Depart from New York JFK airport to Cairo on Egypt Air
Oct 29:Arrive in Cairo. Meet and greet at airport. Assistance with entry visa, passport control, immigration, luggage claim, and customs. Transfer to the Mena House hotel and enjoy dinner.
Oct 30:Visit the Pyramids of Giza, Giza Plateau, tombs of Ido & Kar and the Solar boat. Enjoy a Panoramic view of the Giza Plateau, visit the Sphinx, and Valley temple. Perfume factory.
Oct 31: Visit Saqqara (including Serapeum) and Dahsure. Carpet factory. Enjoy a home-hosted Egyptian dinner at the Fayed home. Halloween costumes encouraged.
Nov 1:Visit the Egyptian Museums and Old Cairo (Hanging Church, Abu Serga Chuch, Ben Azra Synagogue and Amr Ibn el Aas Mosque. Fly to Luxor and overnight in Luxor hotel.
Nov 2:Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple, Valley of Queens, including Nefertari’s Tomb.
Nov 3:Visit the temples of Abydos and Dendara.
Nov 4:Check out of hotel and visit Karnack temples. Check in Nile Cruise and enjoy lunch. In the evening visit Luxor temple. Papyrus and jewelry shops.
Nov 5:Free day on board ship as we sail to Edfu at noon. OptionalEgyptian discussion circle with Julie
Nov 6: Visit Edfu temple and sail to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo temple and sail to Aswan.
Nov 7:Fly to Abu Simbel; visit temples and fly back to Aswan. Enjoy a long afternoon felluca sail.
Nov 8:Checkout of Nile Cruise and Visit Philae Isis temple and unfinished Obelisk. Enjoy a long Felucca (sail boat) ride on the Nile.
Nov 9:Morning free at Mena House. Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening private visit to the Great Pyramid.
Nov 10:Fly back to New York, or enjoy an optional trip to Alexandria to see catacombs, new library, and site of Pharos light house.

Queen of Cups Tours prides ourselves on providing value and attention to detail. The tour covers all transportation from meeting point of tour (JFK airport), flights, buses, etc., lodging, excursions, entrance fees, service of expert professional guides and Guardian Travel, Queen of Cups Tours staff, and meals with group. Fares are based on double occupancy in twin-bed rooms. Queen of Cups Tours will make every effort to accommodate roommate requirements, however this cannot be guaranteed. If we are unable to match you with a roommate the single room supplement will be required. If you prefer a single room, hotels and ships charge a supplement.
Transportation from your home to origin point of tour and returning point of tour (New York JFK airport), airport taxes, passport fees, excess baggage charges, laundry, cleaning, telephone calls, faxes, wires, cables, alcoholic beverages, mineral water, soft drinks, coffee and/or tea (except where included with meals), room service, any meal not covered in tour, items of a personal nature, extra gratuities for photos or guides, cruise stewards, and trip cancellation, delay, or baggage insurance. Optional medical insurance is available for $80.
All monies paid for tour, less a $300 administrative fee, will be refunded for cancellations received in writing ninety days or more prior to departure July 28, 2019. Cancellations received in writing eighty-nine days or less prior to departure (July 29, 2019 and after) will be subject to a $500 cancellation charge plus any unrecoverable deposits from airlines, accommodations, and other non-refundable deposits made on your behalf. No refund will be made for cancellations received the day of departure, or for any portion of the trip unattended.
